- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
- - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugar
- - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Step 4: Add Eggs and Vanilla
- - Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
- - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- - Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Step 6: Fill Cupcake Liners
- - Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 of the way full.

- - Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
