Step 1:
- In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, soaked chana dal, peanuts, chopped onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and salt.
Step 2:
- Add water little by little to make a soft dough-like mixture. It should not be runny.
Step 3:
- Take a thick-bottomed pan or tawa, grease it lightly with oil.
Step 4:
- Take a handful of dough and flatten it evenly on the tawa with your fingers.
- Make a few holes in the center with your finger to allow steam to escape.
Step 5:
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and holes.
Step 6:
- Cover and cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes.
Step 7:
- Once it becomes golden brown and crispy on the bottom, flip it gently and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
Step 8:
- Serve hot with coconut chutney or any spicy pickle.
