📝INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup rice flour
- 2 tbsp chana dal (soaked for 1 hour)
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for shallow frying
👩🍳Recipe
- Step 1:
- - In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, soaked chana dal, peanuts, chopped onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and salt.
- Step 2:
- - Add water little by little to make a soft dough-like mixture. It should not be runny.
- Step 3:
- - Take a thick-bottomed pan or tawa, grease it lightly with oil.
- Step 4:
- - Take a handful of dough and flatten it evenly on the tawa with your fingers.
- - Make a few holes in the center with your finger to allow steam to escape.
- Step 5:
- - Drizzle a little oil around the edges and holes.
- Step 6:
- - Cover and cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes.
- Step 7:
- - Once it becomes golden brown and crispy on the bottom, flip it gently and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 8:
- - Serve hot with coconut chutney or any spicy pickle.
