INGREDIENTS
- 250g paneer (cubed)
- 2 large onions (1 chopped, 1 cut into petals)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp kasuri methi (crushed)
- 2 tbsp curd (whisked)
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Recipe
- Step 1: Sauté Onions
- - Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- - Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- - Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till raw smell disappears.
- Step 2: Cook the Masala
- - Add turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder. Sauté for a minute.
- - Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
- - Mix in whisked curd and stir well, cooking on low flame.
- Step 3: Add Paneer and Onion Petals
- - Add paneer cubes and onion petals. Gently stir everything together.
- - Cook for 4–5 minutes on low heat. Add kasuri methi and garam masala.
- Step 4: Serve
- - Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
