INGREDIENTS
- 250g paneer (cubed)
- 1 onion (cubed)
- 1 green capsicum (cubed)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp kasuri methi (crushed)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp kadai masala or kitchen king masala
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Recipe
- Step 1: Sauté Veggies
- - In a kadai, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add cubed onions and capsicum. Sauté on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
- Step 2: Prepare Masala
- - Heat 1 tbsp oil in the same pan. Add cumin seeds, then chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- - Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell is gone.
- - Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until oil separates.
- Step 3: Add Paneer and Veggies
- - Add the sautéed capsicum and onion cubes, along with paneer cubes. Mix gently.
- - Add kadai masala, pepper powder, garam masala, and kasuri methi. Stir well.
- - Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add little water if gravy is too thick.
- Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- - Garnish with fresh coriander.
- - Serve hot with roti, naan, or paratha.
