For Jhalmuri:
- 2 cups muri (puffed rice)
- ¼ cup chanachur
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, deseeded & chopped
- 1 small boiled potato, diced
- 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
- 1 tsp black salt (or regular salt)
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- A handful of chopped coriander leaves
🔥 Optional Add-ins:
- Cucumber (finely chopped)
- Grated raw mango (if in season!)
- Coconut slices (thin)
- Roasted Bengal gram

- In a large mixing bowl, add:
- -Chopped onion, tomato, boiled potato, green chilies, peanuts, and coriander.
- -Add muri (puffed rice) and chanachur.
- -Drizzle in mustard oil, lemon juice, salt, and chaat masala.
- -Mix everything quickly and well using your hands or a spatula — jhalmuri gets soggy fast, so mix just before serving.
- -Taste and adjust salt, chili, or lemon as needed.
- -Serve immediately in a paper cone or bowl — authentic street-style! 🗞️
