Banana Nut Muffins

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugar
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Step 4: Add Eggs and Banana
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Step 6: Fold in Walnuts
- Gently fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans.
Step 7: Fill Muffin Tin
- Spoon the muffin batter evenly into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
Step 8: Bake the Muffins
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
